Hello all!!

Our 90 day window is about to come up as well. I am almost done gathering all the documents, and hope to send out the packet by next week *crosses fingers*

I have the following so far:

-Pictures spanning from November 2016 (when my husband came) until now, July 2018.

-Three affidavits (one from my mom, and two of my close friends) they're pending to be notarized... (just in case.)

-Bank Statements (November 2016 through July 2018) for each of our individual accounts (my husband opened his individual bank account in December 2016), and joint account (which we opened in April 2018.)

-Letter from my employer (stating of the benefits that I have with them, and confirming that my spouse is my beneficiary (life insurance, dental/health.)

-Copies of life/accident insurance (some letters are from 2017, some from 2018.)

-Health insurance statements (some from 2017 and 2018)

-Dental insurance letter (with benefit information and lists my husband as part of the plan.)

-Copies of our Drivers' License **we do not have a lease, as we currently live with my mom. However we help to pay the bills (bank statements reflect transfers made to each other.) And the affidavit provided by my mom includes this information.

-Copy of auto insurance information **my mom is also under this insurance, so her name is listed as well.

-Copy of our GYM membership information (joined in June 2017)

-Copy of our plane ticket/hotel reservation (went to NY in July 2017, and to the Dominican Republic in Dec. 2017). Though we booked them separately (don't ask me why -_-) both reflect the same departure/return dates, and our seats are side by side. For the hotel reservation (for when we went to the Dominican Republic) it only has my name, but it was reserved for both of us (listed as 2 adults) Would passport stamps help??

We also have a car, however, at the time we bought it, it was signed under my name. Since my husband did not have a credit, we were advised to not add him. None of the documentation related to it includes his name. We actually split our monthly car payments, and recently decided that he will pay the full amount. He is the one that currently drives it the most (to his job.) I am not sure what can be provided, other than the car payment receipts (and also the bank statements show his transfers made to me.)

In regards to a phone bill, we share the account along with my two brothers and mom as part of a family plan. The main account holder is my brother (who does not live with us.) I am not too sure what to present, unless I can print out our phone call records?

And I am probably missing the cover sheet as well.

Hopefully I have enough...

Any suggestions as to what else I can add, before I finalize the packet?

Thanks 🙂

If I may ask, how many pages did you guys end up having? I'm easily running into the 400 pages or more right now. Two full phone bills - just 76 pages alone for the two..... I downloaded phone logs and put them into a Table, much more reasonable. So I'm putting two phone bills, then the tabulated phone logs after...

I ended up with 170 pages total, tried to make it as concise as possible without repeating too much of the same documentation like bank statements/bills, etc. Focused more on showing our travels, the fact we are on one another's accounts, joint ownership of things, etc.

I could've easily sent in 400 pages myself ha ha.

Look into things like greeting cards you've both received in the mail, to show your relationship but also being at the same address!

I also included gift receipts of large purchases we've made to one another, like rings, watches, tech.

Thanks! :)

Unfortunately we don't really have greeting cards, maybe one Christmas card addressed to my husband and I (it's in Spanish, so I'll have to get it translated.) I can check if we have receipts of any large purchase...

He has w2's from his previous employments (from temp agencies.) Also his credit card statements, but they're in Spanish (somehow I cannot get them to be in English.)

Our joint/individual bank statements reflect our current address from his arrival in 11/2016 till now. Those docs are the ones taking up the most space 😱 I can't imagine how thick/heavy the final packet will be.

So I realized something - If you submit the package via USPS, it's one address ( PO Box) whereas Fedex/UPS/ etc. is their actual office address? Make sure to use the correct address!

Has anyone served as the interpreter in completing the form? My husband speaks very little English, so I'm pretty much the one filling out the application/translating for him.

In that case, do I fill in the information as being both the interpreter and preparer?

It might be self explanatory, but I just wanted to make sure before I submit the form (plus I want to avoid an RFE.) :(

Hello Everyone

My wife changed her last name to my last name and now I am applying  for removal of conditions this month. On our marriage certificate, only her maiden name is listed. She changed her last name after our marriage. Do I need to provide proof of her name change in the paperwork that I submit for my application for removal of conditions? If so, what type of proof do I need to provide?

Affidavits submitted must be originals? That's what the I-751 Instructions suggest, but I'm wondering if others see something saying otherwise?
