NVC Proof of DOMICILE???

Hi guys! So we just got our case number. Here’s a timeline:

 

10/01 sent I-130 petition for both parents

10/04 USCIS recieved

04/24 petition approved 😇

05/02 sent to NVC

05/07 NVC RECIEVED 👍🏻✌🏻✋🏻

 

*i called almost everyday. they said waiting time to put in system & get case number is 8 weeks max.

 

07/03 8 week mark and no case # 😫

*had to be expedited to supervisor 

7/10 CASE NUMBER✏️

*choice of agent completed

7/11 AOS fee $120 both parents PAID💰

 

 

Looking at the document checklist,

what is PROOF OF DOMICILE?

 

im a US citizen since September 13, 2017. Been living here in Hawaii since July 2013

Not sure why you're required to do it though, since Hawaii is US...

I was just curious because it was on the document checklist. That paper that has all the listing things you need. If it’s ENCLOSED, NOT AVAILABLE OR NOT APPLICABLE

you can used your Resident Card or your US Passport for the Proof of Domicile.

I had the same question so I called NVC yesterday. I asked should I send a copy of my license.  The NVC rep said that my Tax Transcripts would suffice since it had my current address on it.
