I lost my vaccination card; I emailed the medical exam doctor in advance asking what to do, and he said I should just come in on the day of the booked exam and he will give any relevant vaccinations. He did not mention any delays between vaccinations, etc. Has anyone had vaccinations in their exam and how does it work?

My wife (Taiwan) received 3 (I think) vaccinations during her medical (in Taiwan).  They just injected her, and she paid for them along with the medical exam.  There were no problems and no delays at all.

Since your card is lost you will probably just be given all the required vaccinations, whether you had them before or not since you cant prove you've had them. They just do it all together and then you pay for it. You could save money by going to dischem and getting them done before hand. But you dont know for sure which ones they will require.

I just left the place, my medical is done and the doctor said i can choose to get the shots here in South Africa or over there in the US so i opted to get it there.

They also said it costs R1,500 extra for the needed vaccinations. Don;t want to have that now and then get there and start over, i have read online where people are told there that it is not complete.
