Should I cancel my I-129F or let it fade by doing nothing?

So sad. I found just too much deception going on and have to let it go. I'm devastated.

Now, do I contact Department of State and close my application or just let the case close by doing nothing?

I got my NOA2 just 6 days ago.

RFE 4-27-09 Thai official document in lieu of original Birth Certificate not sufficient???

Infopass appointment 5-26-09 at USCIS. Officer thought our doc was valid and doesn't know why the RFE.

7-28-09 EAD and AP sent

Social Security card 8-4-09

interview 9-10-09

10 year green card expires 9-17-19, Permanent Resident Card.

Resident since 9-10-09.

Sorry to hear of your situation. I would recommend that you contact the USCIS to cancel it. I hope things work out for you, good luck :thumbs:

Here is the email address I have for the US embassy in Bangkok. Does anyone know if this is the best place, or way, to contact the consulate? do you refer to the Bangogk Embassy when you say consulate?

I refer to the consular section of the embassy when I write 'consulate'. In particular, the visa units of the consular section. The e-mail address is visasbkk@state.gov

Right. There probably isn't any hurry but it is actually possible for a visa to be issued if you do nothing. Not likely, but possible. You'll want to notifiy the immigrant visa unit in in Bankok before an interview is scheduled.

I made my decision last Friday and have tried to work it through with her until yesterday. I will wait a few more days as the NVC will not forward it before then and I haven't got my NOA2 in the mail yet.
