Hang in there, it takes a few days after you get the text or the email for the hardcopy of the NOA1 acceptance to get to you through the mail.

We had exactly the same timeframe! I sent mine on 7/3 usps priority and recvd my notification on 7/12 but on my actual noa1 letter it says 7/11....

I had browsed through other threads and thought it was going to be a lonely road, glad I am wrong. Thanks to M and ED who initiated this thread and it brought all of us together and it appears that  we have about 15 to 20 July-2018 filers in this thread.

Thinking of using the waiting time for NOA2 constructively and preparing a checklist of documents and links of references for completing the NOA2 packet. I know this info is available on VJ spread out in various threads but thought it would helpful if we could be "hunter gathers" and compile it here for  our use. We can update and revise the "document" as the group members chip in and provide relevant and current info.

Thinking of using a word doc and uploading it. 

 

Any thoughts and suggestions?

So now that we have all sent in the packet & waiting for the next step , can I number down our next steps , please ? Please correct me if I’m wrong anywhere in these steps 

1. Wait for NOA1 or I-179c

2. If no RFE & if we r lucky enough expect NOA2 in the next 4-6 months. 

3. Once we get NOA2 our case will be sent to NVC & within a week we could call & get our case #

4. Once the case no is available we can go to the counsulate site to fill DS -160 

5. In the mean time get stuff together for interview as beneficiary’s Police clearance & our I-139 & supporting details 

6. Get medical done 

7. Schedule interview 

 

is that all the steps ?
