On queue awaiting interview

Hi guys! Last week we received an email from NVC saying they received all the requested docs and I'm on queue for inteview. Does this mean our case is complete? I checked the status online and it still says "At NVC".

How long do I have to wait to get an interview schedule? Or do I have to schedule it myself?

Also, my NBI clearance will be expiring in October. I got it November 2017. Is it still acceptable or do I have to renew?

Thank you in advance to those who will take time to answer. ❤❤

You have to wait until it says "ready" you can then pay the visa fee and schedule your interview. I believe you have to renew your NBI since you had it over 6 months already.

i thought the visa fee  can be paid same day as the interview 😱😱 also, upon researching, i read somewhere that nvc will sched the interview and then it's up to me if i want to reschedule. i'm a little confused on this 😖😖😖

Congratulations!!!

I got my P4 (Interview appoinment letter) eight days after case complete though it might not be the same for for everyone.

As for NBI clearance, even though it says in the Interview Appointment Letter that it should be of one year validity it's best to renew it to be on the safe side

I think she's referring to a K1 visa which is not your case. Yours is CR1.

That's right. What is the visa fee that you're referring to that can be paid on the same day as the interview?

Hehe yes there's one more fee to pay but you have to wait until you have the visa on hand. You can either pay it while you're still there or when you get to the US.
