Latter that officer says decision is not yet taken for your natrulization application

My wofe had an interview on may 25 and she did fine but officer give her a latter saying that decision of your naturalization is not take yet! Since she was out of United sates for more than 6 month she was out for 9 month since she never intended to live but she had some medical issue so officer said her that she need to send him doctors medical certificate and he will schedule her an oath ceremony !! And we submitted that but still waiting for a latter from USCIS! Little worried about it!

The IO wants to verify that she didn't break continuous residence by being abroad for 9 months. Normally this would be considered a break, but she is being given the opportunity to to show that she did not intend to break it by virtue of a medical condition.
