What proof do I need to send California Service  Center?  His Checking account/State Id/ Sworn affidavit from friends?

 

Or do I need to send me & my wife  personal stuff again? Taxes/Checking accounts 

I'm petitioning for him, not my wife, help would be appreciated

Have you read the I-130 instructions? It very specifically tells you what is needed for your step-son's I-130 petition.

The stepchild's removal of conditions are based primarily on your relationship to the immigrant parent, as well as evidence of maintaining permanent resident status during the past two years.  Check out the I-751 INSTRUCTIONS, particularly page 5, which answers your question.

 

If the step child received Conditional Status within 90 days of when your spouse did, you do not need to file an I-751 for the child.  You just list them on their parent's form.
