No it's just me unfortunately

Can you check with your doctor if there is additional support for your father and you as his carer? You will need to find provision for him if you move anyway.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.  Many approvals have come through with less.  If he can add you as a beneficiary to anything (life, medical insurance) before the interview it's helpful.

Too many people on these threads apply the marry/AOS adjust status requirements (where the couple is living in the US) to petition requirements and I will re-iterate that they are NOT the same.  The attachments for a petition are very clear and I will say we attached exactly what they asked for and no more.  We've never had a problem filing anything.

So my advice is relax, take care of your immediate business, and not add extra worry.

Co-mingle financial stuff  is not possible since you both not living together yet. To pass USCIS stage is actually is easy, the hard part is the final interview with CO. So just gather as much as you can : before married and after married.

I made my husband joint on everything I possibly could.  Wells Fargo, for example, is easier to add someone to an account than any of the other banks I looked at.   I did file as married for tax returns even though he wasn't in the US yet.  In addition, I made him a beneficiary on all my retirement savings, life insurance, home insurance.   I also refinanced my house and while he wasn't put on the mortgage, he was put on the deed (this can be done in person or via power of attorney).

We also created pre-nups, wills, etc which I provided in my binder. Also, we registered our marriage in his hometown so once he got an letter acknowledging it, we added it to our pile.  I basically didn't want any RFE so I did everything I could think of.

Looks good to me. Aside from the required documents, we just added a letter from my mother, and a pre-marital class certificate. Ours was approved in 7 months without any RFE's.
