As the title says, I went to the first medical appointment and I only realized after I got back home from getting my shots and tests done that yesterday I had brought in the expired passport instead of the valid one to the interview. He didn't call me out on the mistake so I didn't realize it at the moment.
In theory, he hasn't even gotten the test results yet; my other, final appointment would be next Thursday. I emailed the doctor with a picture of the biographical page of my valid passport letting him know what happened. I plan to call his office as well first thing on Monday, too.

Since the exam isn't complete yet, the form isn't signed, etc. can this be fixed? The TB sheet of my exam on the other hand, I can't remember if it contained my name and so forth, only my age and photo, but it does have blanks to fill for the passport number.

I feel like the biggest moron in the planet.

Personally, I don't see an issue since this was probably just to identify you for the appointment.  Just be sure you take the valid passport to the visa interview.

I sure hope so! Since I caught it early, perhaps the doctor can just re-print the forms if the wrong number is there (I'll bring new passport-size pictures for this purpose if need be) and maybe I'll have to get the TB worksheet fixed, IF it contained my passport number? It's a shame I can't remember if it did. I distinctly remember the X marking my age and my photo. It would give me piece of mind.

They ask for any and all passports, valid and expired, for the interview so no chance of a mixup there! Phew! :D
