June 2018 AOS Filers

I just now found this forum, but I'm also a June AOS filer.

-Sent it on 6/11

-Got the text/email that it was received 6/22

-Did my biometrics on 7/10 as a walk-in since I couldn't go on the actual date of my appointment

Got biometrics appointment for 7/27.

We got the yellow letter about the medical examination in the mail on July 11th.

Hi once again. I had to resubmit my package as I sent outdated I 485.

So

Package sent on 2 July.

Received on 5 July.

Accepted on 10 July.

GOT NOA on 16 July.

Does anyone say how long approximately to get biometrics scheduled?

i received the receipts (NOA) by mail on Jun 9 and the biometric appointment letter came along together with the receipt (Biometric scheduled on Jun 18)

Were you allowed to bring your mobile phone during the biometrics appointment?

 

Was it the one at Varick Street?

 

Did you go there alone or were you with your spouse?

I've been on two occasion and its a pretty painless process. There is a clear area where it states no cell phones, but you can have yours on you, just not out and being utilized. You can accompany your spouse if you'd like.

Got our NOA e-notification last night, check cashed this morning. Now waiting for Biometrics appointment notice in the mail

Hi everyone,

I just had my Biometrics Appointment at the Wilshire ASC in Downtown Los Angeles.

For anyone else likely to have biometrics at this location, I wanted to share my experience:

• AOS packet filed on 6/20. Biometric Appointment scheduled for 7/19 at 9am. Notice was received 10 days prior, so decided to stick with the scheduled appointment instead of attempting a walk-in.
• I arrived at 8:35am and there was no queue at the entrance.
• It was totally fine to bring in my cellphone - the guard politely informed me that it just had to be on silent mode and remain in my pocket.
• The security guards and all other staff were courteous and helpful.
• I was done by 9:15am.

Yea I want to shout out to the security guards at the Helena, Montana ASC as well.

They are so so friendly (and funny as well), they made me feel relaxed right away. Cell phone is allowed to bring in but I just turned it off. 

I received my biometric appointment letter on Jun 9 and appointment scheduled on Jun 18. My appointment was at 10am, I arrived at 9.15am and finished at 9.35am (also no queue when i arrived)

Just notified case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, effective July 17th.
