So my employment authorization document expires at the end of September so I need to file for renewal. I am currently within the processing time for my green card and have been waiting a year already. I am extremely confused about the fees I have to pay to renew my EAD card. Can somebody please help me?!

There's no fee. Just include a copy of your I-485's NOA1 in lieu of payment.

 

Upon successful and timely filing of the I-765, the EAD will automatically be extended for 180 days: https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/automatic-employment-authorization-document-ead-extension

A copy of your NOA1, or your receipt for I-485, thats what you will include with your application so that you dont have to pay the fee

02/09/201: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter scheduled for 02/22

02/10/2018: Email notification of RFIE :(

02/16/2018: RFIE received for birth certificate and translation, sent back the same day

02/20/2018: RFIE response delivered, sent via Fedex

02/23/2018: Case status updated to RFIE response received

03/05/2018: Courtesy letter for I-693, medical exam received, letter dated Feb 28th

04/16/2019: I-130 petition approved

04/20/2019: approval notice received in the mail

04/22/2019: received notification of RFE for AOS I-485

06/01/2019: RFE finally received after being lost in the mail, asking for a new medical exam

06/06/2019: Response to RFE sent, received the next day 06/07/2019

06/17/2019: Received notification of another RFE, 3rd time will be the charm hopefully

06/22/2019: RFE received for new medical

07/02/2019: Went to doctor for new medical

07/11/2019: I-485 approved without new medical exam

07/18/2019: Green Card received in mail

As state, it's not a copy of the I-485, but the receipt of the I-485 (Form I-797C). This is Also Known As the I-485's NOA1.

exactly, I believe you will need to include a copy of your current EAD card as well, make sure to read carefully the instructions

I am super confused about this. I have filled out form I-765 but I’ve been told that I need to send it off with a receipt of my I-485, but on the I-765 instructions it says to send off with a copy of my passport, visa and I-94. Please help. I’m so confused and frustrated!

I renewed it back in January and just attached the receipt of my I-485. I didn't have to pay a fee.
