The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

This is becoming unbearable.  But I can't complain.  There are people who filed way before me and still have not heard anything.  I pray for your approvals too.

We're both so happy that the petition has finally been approved and I know that we will all get through this long process and finally be together with our significant other! :wub::wub:

 

On a side note: Time to sit and wait for it to get to the NVC. I think this takes about a week or two, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

with this process you just never know but yes it is give or take a few days within the two weeks .i personally would start calling NVC after a week to get my number.
