I know - it's frustrating because that "Standard BS response" is the one thing that we can't do anything to follow up on, even when they're straight up lying.

 

I got the "local office" glitch, but no followup (like you got) that suggests my file actually went anywhere. I have a request in with my Senator's office, so when they respond, they might be able to tell me whether the file was actually moved or it was just a computer error.

Background check!!??    But... I highly doubt if that's the case since you're from Canada! 

 

Something tells me that your case has been combined with your N-400 application and has been sent to the Tucson office!

Not yet... but I did get an update from the Senator's office today - the Tucson office is going to requisition my file (claiming jurisdiction over it now that they're processing my N-400) and the woman from Sen. Flake's office says that when they are able to do that, she'll be able to give me a better idea of when they will be processed. So that's progress, at least!

... And today, got a call from a USCIS officer here in Tucson, saying that they were going to "go ahead and approve my I-751," and that I'd done the right thing by contacting my representative (which suggests to me that the file actually had been misplaced or something). They read me my name and address, to confirm that they were correct, and said I should get my new 10 year card in 5-7 business days!

 

Nothing has updated on either website yet, but I'll let you know what happens!

I was beginning to think I'd never be able to Bold Green my own name! Woohoo! After the phone approval yesterday, the "my card is being processed and will be mailed to me" message showed up on the new USCIS website today (old site has no changes). Thank goodness! And to everyone else, if you're still waiting, now is apparently a good time to go up the ladder and get your representatives involved!

Congratulations, I am very happy for you. You, AustinCanada and Zombie are among my favorite people here. You guys are very supportive. It makes me so happy to see you getting approved because I been active in this thread although I am not an august applicant, regards.

Of August filers on our tracker? It's a bit hard to say, since some of the people who asked to be put on the list haven't been back to VisaJourney in a while, and haven't updated. But there are certainly people out there in the world who haven't been approved yet, despite still being married and not filing N-400. I didn't file N-400 until last month, and it didn't have any impact on my approval (my inquiries through my Senator's office were what made them pull my file). We're still married, and I'd still be waiting if I hadn't kept writing and calling whoever would let me!

I got a status change on my 751

, but it has the same old status of 751 being received by the the office, i also got the same kind of glitch like alert on my 400, 13 hours later, I got a majoir update on it saying they have scheduled my interview. I am 10 days away from my 400 interview, so if I get an update later, what could it be? An approval? We will see.

Thanks, and congrats to those who were approved. I got a glitch like alert on my app saying there has been a case status change on my 751, but the status is still the same ole pending status. That is what happened with my 400, I got a major update after an alert status change on the app. We will see, I never received a RFE and if there is an update later , it may be the approval, will keep you updated. Thanks for you kind words, you are one of my favorite posters here too.

Hi there, it might be a glitch because I also created my account to file for naturalization and I added my I-751 account. It tells me that my case is received at the local office which I don't believe and it's the number on my biometrics letter. I am happy for you that you are on the verge of completing this journey. Have a great interview, lots of prayers for you, regards.

I got that too, but this one is different, it is a case alert and change that gives you the same information, and a day later, i got a major update, that is what happened to my 400. Hopefully I will get something tomorrow, if not, the interview is only 10 days away. My man is in the hospital due to a small stroke, stressful times, hope he can recover fine, thanks for your prayers.
