Do you know anything about legal name change processed in SF office?

I was told at my i-751 interview in San francisco that they do not perform name changes as the do not do judicial oath ceremonies any more. You have to go to the courts to get it done.

hey, seems like we have the exact same timeline so far.

My submitted date is January 22, 2018 and biometrics date is February 15th. No news since....Estimated case completion date is February 2019.

Hi guys! Just finished my biometrics in Oakland, went super fast. Also, my estimated time dropped from 14 to 11 months.

Hi all.  We will be submitting an N-400 for my wife in the next week or so. She has had her green card for about seven years, and given the current occupant of the white house, we finally got nervous and decided it is probably best to proceed with naturalization now. 

 

It appears that most have received biometrics appointments within less than a month of submitting the N-400.  Anyone not receive an appointment that early?  I ask because we have a brief trip abroad to visit family planned for late October, and want to avoid having to reschedule / delay the biometrics.  Thanks all, and good luck!
