I wouldn't be massively worried, the form i-130 is quite difficult to mess up, also you need to account for president's day so there will be a small back log and like you say phoenix is a bit slower than chicago

I have also heard of people not even getting an email notification of NOA1 and just having to wait for the hard copy that takes a little longer. Even with form g-1145

I’ve seen a lot to Chicago. Sounds like they at least respond quickly to the initial petition. I think I’m the only one that had to file at the Phoenix AZ lockbox.

Nahhh... I filed Phoenix Lockbox as well and got my NOA1 within 5 days on text and email. I sent mine beginning of this month. Should go rather quick to get NOA1. Good luck! Then it was sent to Nebraska! That is a tough journey with that place I heard. I dont mind the wait so much, but it is unsettling to wait for sooo long.

Hi guys,

my spouse also filed the petition for me this month. It was received in Chicago on the 12th but we haven’t heard anything back since then.

We are starting to freak out!

Hi, like I said to dalis, I wouldn't worry too much as some people just dont receive email NOA1 for some reason and the hard copies usually take a little longer :)

I’m sure you’ll hear something soon. It’s anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before NOA 1.

Good luck!

Wow that is awesome time. I just called today to check if my money order was cashed and they said it was. Would this man that they did accept the petition? I have not gotten the notification or email yet.

Your welcome! Its a tough journey but worthwhile in all ways to be with our loved ones! If they deposited the funds, then they accepted it, just a waiting game now.
