I just got email updates from USCIS that they have received the cases and routed them to the Potomac Service Center

02/06/2018: I-130 delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox by USPS
02/14/2018: Checks cashed by USCIS
02/14/2018: Emails/ SMS received that USCIS has accepted the 2 cases and routed them to the Potomac Service Center
02/14/2018: NOA1
02/20/2018: NOA1 letter received
10/24/2018 NOA 2: I-130 approved!
11/04/2018: Case sent to Department of State for processing
12/17/2018: Case received by NVC

We just got our email too but mine is going to Nebraska 😭 

 

I better learn to be very patient for the next year-18 months

Very! It’s the slowest service centre. It’s around 100+ days or so slower than the fastest service centre. It’s the one place no one wants to go.

Oh my goodness, I didn't know that. I thought that was the fastest one. I pray to God mine doesn't go there but since I'm in Minnesota, it's likely to go there. Which is fastest you think?

I don’t think it matters what state you will be immigrating to as to where they send your petition. I think it depends on where there’s room. Vermont, Yexas and Potomac are the fastest right now based on the processing times on here. I really hope you get one of those service centres!

I just found out I got Potamac for both forms. Hope it works out fast

I mailed our I-130 off January 30th for CR-1 visa, and got NOA1 notice in email and text on the 5th of February. I am located in Idaho and our petition was sent to..........ugh........Nebraska! I do not mind the wait as it gives my wife and I time to get the docs needed from the Philippines for the NVC phase. Good luck to everyone! I look forward to following along with everyone in the CR-1/ IR-1 category and the moral support that goes along with it.

Hello Everyone, 

 I filled a I-130 and I-130A petition to Phoenix AZ February 12th and I am still waiting on confirmation. My husband and i got married December 2017 and he already has a tourist visa. I checked to see if the money order was cashed and it hasn't. Any one else filling in February like me?
