Hi All,

We are currently awaiting our NOA2 (expected April 2018) and at the moment I, the beneficiary, am looking into the required vaccinations.

I passed by my GP office today and picked up my vaccination history. I've received one MMR jab, back in 1988 and a "low dose diphtheria, tetanus and inactivated polio vaccination" (written as it's worded on my summary) in 2007.

Would these be sufficient? Or would they need to be redone as they're from so long ago?

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Hi,

Tetanus is required every 10 years. So, you will need to get tetanus redone.

You'll need before AOS:

MMR (2 required in US)

Tdap (Tetanus/ diphtheria/pertussis)

Varicella will be waived  if you say you had chickenpox

Flu will be waived for "not flu season" by then

Best to get them recorded at your visa medical even though a K1 can get the visa with no jabs.
