My fiancé is going to be having the medical examination done soon and we wanted to know how things are done at the exam in Costa Rica. I’ve read that some places check private parts or strip down to nothing, and some places don’t. Does anyone know if that happens in CR? If so, are you allowed to opt out of it or have a woman do that part of the check? Does anyone have a recommendation as to which doctor to pick for the physical?

Thank you!

Only those medical are accepted that are done by doctor recommended by that specific embassy.

You can check that on your country embassy website.

Secondly that private part thing or strip down thing you heard is wrong.

Its very rare and only in some specific case.

Obviously if you request women doc would be available during medical.
