honestly I do think our will start showing up between 100-110th day mark. I am at 96 now. So I think we should hear something in the coming 3 weeks.

So last night around 8:45 pm I got a phone call from California number. It was from USCIS L2 Officer. He told me that they have received the Biometrics and told me that EAD/AP is taking 3-6 months of processing so wait.

I responded saying that some cases are already getting their EAD/APs why is it taking longer for me. I got the standard response, "all cases are different and so you cannot compare your processing time to others".

So I suggest all in F2A category NBC filers, wait it out. Hope to get the Final Action Date beyond March 15 in the next Visa Bulletin.

Final action date shouldnt make a difference. What he said Means we should wait for 4-5 months full.

Final Action dates decide if a visa is available immediately. It has nothing to do with EAD/AP though

Turns out I cannot talk to the level 2 officer until its been 30 days since I raised an SR. -_- She told me to call back after 30 days. And sees the case is still pending.

I was told check back in February. I only hope that I get a GC interview soon. Seems like USCIS has us by the balls and life is at pause !

On another note, some other forums have people waiting for EAD/AP for 8 months.. So USCIS is certainly slower in processing EAD/AP.

What field office will be adjusting your status?

New York

So there is a 9 months waiting period in NY.

I always have this question, is the waiting period from the date of filing or the date when the I-130 PD becomes current.

Lets say if I was an early filer per dates for filing, does that mean, I have to wait from Oct 2017 or the waiting period starts from the Visa bulleting when the priority date becomes current for me?
