Changing Address

Hey Guys, 

 

Its been so long since i've had to deal with anything, I can't remember any codes.....

 

My Wife and I have moved and i need to change my address with USCIS. I'm still waiting on my Green Card, as far as i'm aware, its not been granted yet.

 

I'm filling out the form and it keeps telling me the FORM number doesn't match the Receipt number ( Receipt number is correct, i've copied and pasted AND typed it out).

 

My question is, what FORM number do i use.......i thought it would be I485 and then Family Based Adjustment, but its not working, i just get the message "

• You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number"

 

Any help would be great,

I have had the same error message when changing my address online. You should still be able to send the form despite the error message. 

 

I'd advise you to call USCIS and change your address with them too.

 

Hopefully, this works out well for you. I've been attempting to change my address since last year October, I have tried every single way, but I find out USCIS is still hanging onto my old address and have been sending correspondence to my old address.

Turns out i was using the wrong Receipt number! School boy error...........checked one of my notices and it had two receipt numbers..........thanks for the reply though.
