Adjustment of Status/Permission to work

Once me and my fiance get married and apply to adjust his status and request permission to work and travel...

 

1) About how long does the permission to work take?

2) Will the permission to work stay valid until he has his green card or will he have to continuously renew if so how long?

3) How long does it take to get the green card from the time you apply after getting married on the K1 visa?

4) If it take say two years from the time he applies until he has it in hand does the time count towards the three years before he can apply for citizenship?

 

We've done so much research on the K1 and out petition has been received just patiently awaiting approval but there's still a lot that confuse me about the after. Any links to informative sites are welcome.

2) no.  it if it expires before GC it will have to be renewed

3) right now about 12 mos
