Response to Noir-petition revoked

Hello everyone:

 Yesterday I received email that my original approved spouse petition was revoked (waiting to receive hard copy in mail). Of course I am disappointed and do not know what to do. Any insight into options?

Wait until you find out why the petition was revoked. Or do you know already?

Not quite certain now for denial. But in response to Noir I sent in a lot of evidence to prove validity of relationship.

  What were the points in the NOIR and how did you respond to them?

Key points were there is doubt to the validity of marital relationship. I sent copies of passport stamps, itinerary, boarding passes, atm withdrawals in Senegal for second trip there in November, 2016. Sent multiple copies of western union receipts for 2017. Also sent 2016 tax return, transcript and w-2. Photos of us at different times. Also sent copies of Spouse Acknowledgement form along with copy of retirement (drop) paperwork showing my spouse as beneficiary. This was my second trip and I  stayed three weeks before having to return. I also want to add that due to the processing delays I reached out to my Senator's office for assistance.

Doubting that your relationship is genuine is a very general and broad thing.
Usually the NOIR will have very specific bullet points listing reasons of their doubt.
What specific points were mentioned in the NOIR and what items did you send to address the specific points mentioned 
in the NOIR?
You can't submit general things like chats if specific things were listed but you have to overcome each specific point mentioned.
Please upload the NOIR request without any personal information for further advice.
Was your NOIR response submitted by the deadline of 30 days ?

Yes I returned my evidence within a week. There is a lot of personal information listed on the NOIR so I prefer not to disclose.  I'm waiting for the hard copy of my revocation letter to arrive by mail. I  will reach back out if assistance is needed. Thanks for your help.

Greetings:

I received the hard copy of the revocation. The reason for revocation was due to death certificate for husband's late wife not authentic.  My husband is traveling to the country to obtain it. We have 30 days to appeal with this evidence. This is all we need.

Hope everyone had a great holiday.  My question now is how do I go about obtaining a certified copy of death certificate from Sierra Leone?

I assume your husband is a Sierra Leonean ?  He should know where to get it or ask around, I guess at the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths.
Did he file one after his spouse died, does he have a copy ? They want an original plus a copy.
If he didn't already have one on file then this will be an uphill ordeal to get one. Anyone can get a fake one there and I guess the embassy 
said the one he previously turned in is not authentic so my question is didn't they say he could be hit with misrepresentation for that ?
Misrepresentation can carry a life long ban. Fake papers will get him denied and not usually given another chance.
Why is it not authentic, where was it obtained ?

An attorney can't help. He needs to go to S/L with the hospital copy to get an original one issued at the Registrar of Birth and Death. If they give him the original or a certified copy I don't know but if he can get certified copies then get several. You will also need it for AOS here. Good thing he has at least the hospital copy, otherwise it would be harder to obtain the registered one. He will have to pay a fee to get it done.
