I've seen others having issues with them being laminated.  You may want to see about ordering another copy before your interview.

  Lagos doesn't like laminated documents.  Laminating makes it hard to see if the document is a forgery and we know how many bad documents anyone in Lagos can buy for a few naira.  Go get a new one.   I know how everyone there loves lamination to protect from the humidity and such but it voids the document.  

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

No they do not. No lamination.
