Dates Updated at USCIS Website - No response of petetion

"Local office" is incorrect, but I think that's just because they don't expect callers to know the difference between a field office and a service center. The number you called is for their customer information line - they use 1 number for all requests. It's not local to your case, so they need to reach out to whoever does have it (CSC in the case of virtually all I-129Fs).

I called thr national costumer service number.  They got my case number and asked me how I needed help. I told them im confused bc on thr USCIS website it says they are now on Sept and my case is August so I want to know what's going on. He made me wait on hold for maybe one minute or so. He said he was "pulling up the information and his system is slow" and then went on to confirm that they are on September amd my case is outside of processing times. He then put in a request for me to CSC.

I didnt request anything.  But bc it was outside of processing times he put in a request to have the petition completed.

This is a BFD.

 

No expedite request? Just outside of normal processing? and to confirm, you are an August filer?

 

My hunch is that the person on the phone messed up also. 

This doesn't even make sense.

The normal processing times dont come from the website with the questionable glitch.

 

Those dates/timelines for average processing times come from this site, correct?

If this is correct, how could they claim you are outside normal processing? Something smells really wrong here...

Now this all makes sense.

 

The people handling the phone calls didnt understand there was a glitch...assumed these were outside normal processing and escalated.

When the powers that be got all the case status requests, the glitch was discovered and corrected.

 

Back to the normal waiting game...

 

Lots of false hope.

No one wanted or expected them to skip any cases. What would have been preferred or assumed would be that the work/process that been sped up by at least working with another center or something.

Believe me if you knew how many times I had to say they're not skipping cases during the past 3 days, you'd be surprised.. 

 

I wish that was the case too.

 

But people started scanning september because of panic..

Thats how i feel. I reslly dont know hpw to feel. I dont know if the USCIS is lieing to us or theywork from home amd really dont have any clue to whats going on and they just read from the computer screen,i dont know if i should be happy that it went back to May 1st or not. Im confused on if o should feel confused lol😅😅
