Dates Updated at USCIS Website - No response of petetion

Alot of filers in May and June are saying they called USCIS and..It is not a glitch,they are indeed on Sep 1st (so they say). Im a June filer...im just really confused 🤔🤔🤔

I think maybe my assumptions were right. Maybe they did split the cases between centers. Have you tried calling to inquire about your particular case since you're June? I noticed that Texas is at June since they updated the website on Nov 7. Try starting there?

Someone also got an answer saying nothing was transferred 🤷‍♀️ noooo clue what's going on...

Yea I just read that. Maybe it's all just a clerical error on the website then.

Everyone should be taking advantage of the September 2017 date change and call USCIS for an inquiry and possible expedite request. I just called this morning and they put in both for me, and gave me a tracking number for each.

I called. They put in a service request for me too. He said they are now on September. I'm August. Let's see.

Well if it wasn't a mistake for some really odd reason, they're in for a world of hurt soon. Everybody submitting case inquiries and expedite requests will create more work and introduce more unpredictability into the process.

See I would assume that too but there's something they're not telling us. If they really are September then what happened? I'm happy if they are at September but something isn't adding up...

I can say with a high level of certainty that they are not regularly processing September filers. Well, unless they are doing so without updating the online tracker AND somehow missing most active VJ members from the same time period.

 

Exactly 3 I-129F approvals of 636 cases are recorded in VJ for August-forward filers (likely all expedites). <0.5% approved

Exactly 2 I-129F approvals of 273 cases are recorded in VJ for July filers (likely all expedites). <1% approved

Exactly 3 I-129F approvals of 297 cases are recorded in VJ for June filers (likely all expedites). 1% approved

Exactly 90 I-129F approvals of 367 cases are recorded in VJ for May filers. 25% approved

Exactly 256 I-129F approvals of 357 cases are recorded in VJ for April filers. 72% approved

Exactly 300 I-129F approvals of 399 cases are recorded in VJ for March filers. 75% approved

 

I completely understand that VJ only represents a very small number of filers, and that many users create a timeline but never update it. However, April and earlier are a pretty good baseline of how often people typically update their timelines. So either the June/July/August-onward filers on VJ are being skipped, or there's been a very drastic change in member participation with updating their timelines.

 

The scans against USCIS case numbers are showing no updates as well.

How can they skip JUNE/JULY/AUGUST

They can't be so fast that they finished all these so quick, something is there which we don't know

Ok I rang 1.800.375.5283.  (M-F 8am-6pm are the hours for anyone else looking to ring)

I put in my case number on the phone pad, and then hit the key to speak to a rep.  First she confirmed my case number and then the date they received my I-129F, and that a NOA1 was sent. 

She then asked me what the call was for.  I told her that I saw the date on the USCIS site for K-1 visas was now showing as 1 September and that since we sent our app in July I was concerned about missing a notification from them. 
She then put me on a brief hold and came back and said that she sees my case is "outside regular processing times" and will send a "request to the local office".  (this part confused me since I didn't think K-1's went to local offices, but I played along...)

She asked me if I was the petitioner or the applicant.  I said petitioner.  Then she asked same question again, I said I am the USC and I sent in the application, so believe that makes me the petitioner.  She also asked if I was applying for my fiancé or spouse.  I said fiancé.  She again asked if I was married.  I said no, but I hope to be next year.  She sort of laughed - not sure how to take that.  Anyway it was weird.  Then she asked if I or my spouse were in the military.   Again strange since I had just told her I was engaged, not married.  I said no. 

After that she put me on another hold for a bit longer.  Then she asked me my name, DOB, zip, phone #, email, and mailing address.  She said they would do an update to see why my case was still pending, and I asked when I might hear something as I didn't want to harass them, and she said within 30 days. 

She was polite but straight forward. 
I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and she said no.

So we shall see what happens.  Fingers crossed there is no problem with the application.  I'm a nervous wreck at the moment.
