Many people have received an RFE for not providing evidence that they met without the services of an IMB.

From my RFE earlier this year:

"

Circumstances of Meeting

You indicated that you met the beneficiary through a free dating website online, www.OkCupid.com. However, you did not provide any specific details about this website. Submit information about this website and the circumstances under which you and the beneficiary met to establish the relationship.

International Marriage Broker (IMB)

The evidence submitted indicates that you may have met the beneficiary through the services of an International Marriage Broker (IMB). You stated that you met the beneficiary through a dating website. Although your answer to question 35 (this is question #55 on the newest I-129F!) on the fiancee petition indicates that you did not meet the beneficiary through through the services of an international marriage broker, you you did not establish that the website is not an international marriage broker as defined by regulations. [yada yada yada] As such, you must submit...documentations to establish that the website is not an international marriage broker."

Welp... looks like i can be expecting a RFE shortly. My attorney said we didn't need to do anything : /

It's not guaranteed either...I've seen plenty of people not get an RFE using the same website and mentioning it. It's inconsistent, hence why the safest option is to include the evidence that they aren't an IMB.

Also be careful on search for customer service numbers of these websites I thought I found Tinder’s # and it was an fraudulent call center asking personal info and he told me he was with Google and will transfer me to Tinder.

I submitted a letter stating I could not reach Tinder anda screen shot of subscription payment along with terms of use. My application has been mailed off today. Hoping not but how long does a RFE hold up the process? Wish me luck

Nothing is guaranteed. My RFE (for the IMB evidence) delayed the process by bout 2.5 weeks overall: 1 week to get it after electronic notification, 2 days to reply (I was ready!), then a week for them to get/acknowledge it and approve. YMMV.
