the Chippewa tribe in mid-Michigan has fully endorsed this as it helps bring people to their casinos.

This resurrects a memory from when Mrs. T-B. was studying for her citizenship test.  I was helping.

T-B. [reading questions from booklet]:  "Name two Indian tribes in the United States."

Mrs. T-B.:  The Apache Indians.

T-B.:  Correct; what's one more?

[Mrs. T-B. looks blank and terrified]

T-B. [helpfully]:  Where did we go in Louisiana that time?

Mrs. T-B.:  Louisiana...

T-B.:  We went to the casino...

Mrs. T-B. [excitedly]:  That's it!  The Casino Indians!

:P

A quick google search shows the extent to which it's being discussed already. It's not unprecedented for an incumbent president to face a challenger in a primary, although it's rare for a challenger to actually win.  Much can change in 3 years obviously, but right now, it's hard to think of any one in the GOP who would even come close to defeating Trump.

Because alot of us Republicans were tired of SSDD crowd of that wing of the party. Like it's ok we go along to get along with Democrats and screw over our base, and it came back to bite them in the butt big time with DT. I have admitted before on here I was all for Rubio before he got out and then I went behind DT because to me he is alot better than Jeb and Killary combined.

Since the election has taken place I really do not see any one in wings of either party than quite frankly run against him and win at all. All the Democrats have are washed up Very White People (I'm white) trying to pander to their base of minorities and the disenfranchised SJW's of the party. Don't even give me Corey Booker or Kamala Harris either because they have skeletons in the closets, but Booker to me would be the better candidate right now since I can't stand Lying Harris.

Good points. Certainly the question for the democrats is how to get people to show up. The issue with "the base" for both parties is not really that they will switch sides in significant numbers, it's whether they will show up or not on election day. Hillary's big problem was not that Republicans or independents didn't like her, it's that too many Democrats didn't. As I said before, that's still a big issue going forward for the Democrats.

If it comes down to the swing vote, which it probably will, the question is how easy will it be to find a candidate more appealing than Trump. In theory, should have been easy, but in practice maybe not.

Yeah in theory everyone was better than by a long stretch, but when the rubber meets the road alot of people liked a fair amount of what he was saying to go out and vote. All the while alot of Left Leaning Independents and Bernie crowd was fed up with all of the back stabbing going on in the DNC that they just stayed home. I have met many "minorities" through out my travels and conversations here in SoCal that his message resonated with them and what they were thinking as a whole. But according to those "polls" they should have gone out to vote for Hillary because they were black, brown, or asian.

There is a fair amount of information out there for people to sit through if they want to read up on policies, ideas, or anything else in particular. The bad thing for the Democrats is that they no longer have a strangle hold on the ability to get their narrative out to people anymore using the MSM. A fair number of people have wized up and gone the other way and you can blame that on whatever you want really be that bad information from the MSM, the Russians, or quite frankly people are tired of the lies.
