Hey Folks:

We are waiting for my wife's green card. She only has a passport from her country and her fiancé visa has expired and we are now married.  Can she travel with me on domestic airlines without any problems in the USA?  Maybe I should ask an officer, but I want to see what you all know about this topic first.

Thanks!

K1 works once for entry.

I am guessing you filed for AOS. Did you get a NOA when you did that? If so, you can make a photocopy and keep it along with the passport just in case. She can fly domestic but make sure you guys are not going to Alaska/Hawaii/US Virgin Islands/Guam because they tend to check "passports/visas".

I fly all within the US all the time and sometimes use my passport. They have never asked me about visas, etc. not even checked if I had a visa.

My husband flew on just his passport and just his EAD Both times were perfectly fine. Never an immigration issue at all.

I entered US with K-1 and my POE was JFK New York. I stayed there for a few days at my cousin's place and left for Cincinnati from Albany airport using just my passport. No questions asked.

Anything else that can be brought along with the NOA1 + passport for domestic travel? Given the current sociopolitical climate, it makes me nervous to travel while we are undergoing AOS but taking a trip together would also be a nice treat ^_^

It's a beautiful day to go after your dreams :star:

NOA1 + Passport is good enough for you to travel anywhere in the US. If you got a state ID or Driver's License then you won't even need to carry your passport with you.
