Hey everyone!

The NVC forwarded our case to the consulate end of June. We filled the DS-160 and scheduled an interview because the first time I called they told me it was okay to do. Later we found out we were supposed to wait for a packet in the mail from the consulate with instructions.

We are still waiting to receive this packet of instructions from the consulate.... Does anyone have advice about this? Did you have to wait for this packet? when did you get it? anything we can do to speed up the wait?

It's weird because I have seen people who applied their 129 after us and they have had interviews already! we started the process in february!

Thanks everyone for the help! I am very nervous about what is going on!

I never received a packet from NVC, all I got was my interview date letter, so not sure what packet they're referring to

yes how long did it take to get the interview date packet? can we use that generic one and attend the interview or do we have to wait for them to prepare it and send it?

do they pick the date for you or you can pick on the ais website???
