I filed at the end of December, my priority date is December 31st... I need to go do my biometrics on January 30th. I live in Queens :).
So logically you should get your biometrics appointment for early-mid February.
Anyone else here who recently filed in NYC?

- Paperwork for Green Card received by USCIS: May 3, 2013
- Interview date: 24 March 2016: approved! (after 3 long years!)

- N-400 sent out: December 26, 2018
- NOA1/priority date: December 31st, 2018
- Biometrics: January 30th, 2019

So far, I haven't heard of same day oaths for Holtsville interviews. (Oaths are taken in Central Islip.) I'll have a search though.

 

Fyi, my husband had to have a supervisor look over his application, so he wasn't approved until 12/27, 1 week after the interview. The oath letter appeared online on Jan. 3.

 

Ceremony was Jan. 15. *Note that we didn't get the oath letter in the mail until Jan. 7! It would only have been 8 days notice if we hadn't known to check our online account. 😕We were thrilled to get it so soon, but due to husband's traveling out of the country for work this month, and guests wanting to coming in from out of state, that could have thrown a real wrench into things.

 

Anyway, good luck to you - my husband had a very pleasant interview experience and his oath ceremony was wonderful! All of our guests were so thrilled they came. Judge Bianco was truly inspirational and made it so special.

Hey guys I hope you all doing well.

Its about N400 application.

 I am from Long Island  New York and my PD date is October 2017.

I had the interview on September 2018 and passed.

It's been more than 120 days now with no oath ceremony date or update .

I filed couple of service requests within 2 months and the 3rd one was 5 minutes ago. They told me we will email you or will call you about your case.

They have been telling me the same story every service request or on calls.

I am very distressed and dont know what to do from now on .

Any advices or recommendations i appreciate it.

My n400 was on 5 year rule.

Its about N400 application.

 I am from Long Island  New York and my PD date is October 2017.

I had the interview on September 2018 and passed.

It's been more than 120 days now with no oath ceremony date or update .

I filed couple of service requests within 2 months and the 3rd one was 5 minutes ago. They told me we will email you or will call you about your case.

They have been telling me the same story every service request or on calls.

I am very distressed and dont know what to do from now on .

Any advices or recommendations i appreciate it.

My n400 was on 5 year rule.

My case is pretty similar to yours. I had my interview in July 2017 and didn't hear anything back after until February. I have made multiple service requests and scheduled a bunch of InfoPass appointments and all I got back was "your case is fine and everything looks good, you just have to wait." Around the beginning of February, I made an InfoPass appointment and the Officer said that there must be something wrong that I haven't heard. He filed a service request and said if I don't hear back within two weeks, I should come back without an appointment and see him and he'll take it from there. I waited two weeks and went back and he wasn't there. I kept going every day for that week (sometimes twice a day) until an officer (that sits next to the person that gives you a number when you get there) said "I have heard you come here every day this week. Come to the next window and let me help you." She looked at my case for a while, then said that my file is not where it's supposed to be. She went to physically move my file to the right place and she told me to go to the 6th floor and ask for another officer and he'll have something for me. I went upstairs and waited for the officer - he came out and gave me my Oath Notice. 

To sum it up, you should be very persistent. You should keep calling and asking to speak to a level 2 officer. You should keep scheduling InfoPass appointments every couple of weeks and keep hounding them. Eventually, they will get sick of you and look into your case.

I would also contact the Senator's office as well as your Congressman. And you should file a case assistance inquiry here .
