I've just received a notification from USCIS this morning that they scheduled me for biometrics appointment. However, I'll have to wait for the letter to come in the mail to find out the date and time for the appointment.

Awesome.. they don't have it in your account and can just print out? Just like the NOA?

Nope, beside the PDF Receipt Notice, there is nothing else to be found. They might upload the PDF version of my biometrics appointment to my account later. However, I think you need the actual hard copy appointment letter from USCIS to process biometrics at the field office. They probably would not accept a print out from our own printer (only my personal opinion).

I got it too. I wish it had the date on the electronic notice, but anyways, we will see next week.

USCIS will upload pdf letter in 3-4 days. You can just take the print out of that pdf and go to bio-metric office along with your green card and ID. They will accept it. I did the same way and the funny part is that I am yet to receive actual letter in mail:content:

Oh here comes the guru! Thank you so much. I'll probably do the same. Do we need to print the PDF in colors? Also, do you know how early we can walk-for biometrics? Cheers! :)

GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card.
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

06/27/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago

07/02/2013 - Received USCIS Acceptance Confirmation email (PD June 28).

07/03/2013 - Check cashed

09/11/2013 - I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center

11/13/2013 - I-130 transferred to USCIS local field office (3 weeks after the interview)

11/25/2013 - I-130 Approved

AOS, EAD, AP

07/30/2013 - AOS packet sent via USPS ( I-485, I-131, I-765)

08/01/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago
08/12/2013 - Received 3 USCIS Acceptance Confirmation SMS/emails. Awaiting official receipt notice (Form I-797) in the mail.
08/12/2013 - Check cashed
08/15/2013 - Received 3 NOA's by mail.
08/19/2013 - Received Biometrics appointment
08/20/2013 - Biometrics completed by walk in
09/06/2013 - Original Biometrics appointment

08/27/2013 - Expedited AP Approved / EAD was approved as well.

08/30/2013 - Second EAD/AP card ordered confirmation e-mail.

09/03/2013 - EAD/AP card shipped (USPS tracking number)

09/05/2013 - EAD/AP card received

09/05/2013 - I-485 status online changed to "testing & interview"

09/20/2013 - I-485 status showing the interview date (Oct. 24)
09/23/2013 - Received NOA about the interview appointment

10/24/2013 - Interview (Approved!)

11/25/2013 - First Card Production Ordered e-mail (5:30pm)

11/25/2013 - Status Update: Decision (9:00pm)

11/29/2013 - Second Card Production Ordered e-mail with Tracking # (8:45pm)

12/02/2013 - Green Card Received

I-751

07/23/2015 - I-751 sent via USPS

07/27/2015 - Package received at VSC

08/03/2015 - Check cashed

08/03/2015 - Received NOA, dated 07/28/2015

08/13/2015 - Received Biometrics notice for 08/24/2015

That pdf letter is uploaded black & white. Plus biometric office goes by barcode so make sure that you have that thing clearly printed. You can walk-in the minute you have the letter (pdf or mail) in your hand as long as office people are cool with your walk-in appointment. Good luck!

Thanks for the info just got my notification for biometrics too. And now waiting for the pdf in my USCIS account. Did they mention to the biometric letter what office you have to go to have it done?
