Hey everyone!

We sent our I-129f in June and on the 15th of the same month we checked the status and here's what it says : "On June 15, 2017, we received your Form I-129F (...) and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

So we received the notice but there wasn't any instruction to follow. Just the procedure to follow if some of the informations on the receipt were wrong, which wasn't the case.

Now it's been almost three months, and we still haven't heard anything from them. Is it normal? What should we do? We both live in Belgium. Is it possible that since we sent the form during the summer holidays the processing time is longer?

Thank you!

You just have to wait. It's been only couple of months. The process might take from 6 to 8 months or longer.

29.11.2013 - NoA1

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview.

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

Average time to get NOA2 right now is 4-5 months. You can fill in your VJ timeline to get an estimate of when your case might be adjudicated, though it's not always accurate since it's based on average times from people updating their own timelines.

Good luck!
