Congrats!! You are almost done!

If I remember right I received an email saying my I751 was approved, 7-10 days later more or less I received my new green card, and two weeks later more or less I received my Oath Ceremony notice. Total time between my interview and my Oath Ceremony notice was around 28 days.

I wanted to consult with you all regarding the "Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship" that the interview invitation letter indicates. My spouse became a citizen through his parent when he was a minor. The parent was naturalized in the 2000s. The N400 interview letter indicates to bring a proof of citizenship of my spouse but he only has his expired and current passports. No certificate of citizenship. Would the passports suffice as a proof or we should bring a copy of the parent's naturalization certificate as well? I'm just not sure if we could locate it since the parent has moved several times. It is very possible that it was lost during the moves...

I would try to have all if you can find his parent's certificate. If not, passport and an explanation would probably fine. Maybe have a copy of parent's passport too just in case?

Thank you so much for replying back to me @Choviwan! We're trying our best to locate the certificate now. Hopefully it's not lost =( Worst thing worst we'll just have to explain it. Congrats to you again!!

For those who applied for a passport at the Oath Ceremony, did you staple the passport photo before getting there, or do you need to simply provide the photo to them and they'll staple it?

Just had my interview today at SFO Field office. Went very smooth and officer (K.Hickman) was nice. total time taken was 45 mins. Apparently there is a special Oath Ceremony at Hayward City Hall on December 14th and got scheduled for that.  :-)

Thanks for the update, my interview is scheduled for 11/20 and I might end up with you at the Oath ceremony (assuming I pass the interview). I live in Hayward so that will work out

 

Did the officer let you know immediately about where and when your Oath will be? Or did you have to wait for the website to provide you with an update?

Got my 751 approval in mail yesterday and the online status changed to Oath notice was mailed, which means most likely should be Dec 5th. You should be getting the oath ceremony notice soon, if you havent already.

Omg!! I just received a letter notification that my interview has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances... This is so unfortunate! Has anyone had a similar experience? When it will get rescheduled?

It's Monday, November 19th! I can't believe I just receive it a few days before the interview. I feel like crying.... I don't know what to do
