It took one yr to review our case then I submitted more evadence and still Denied, I spoke with a lawyer and  I refiled, 8 months later i received a notice three weeks ago my postal was unable to deliver the noa2 , so hopefully soon ,

No it doesn't mean that, I'm sure you will be OK, every case is different, my his husbands English wasn't all the consular wanted it to be, she said we had little conversation, although I sent thousand of chat history, but it took one yr to review our file after being returned, I spoke with a lawyer ,she told me I should of just refiled after denial

You have quite a wait. Expect 12 to 18 months before you hear from USCIS. Nothing you can do right now but wait.

 

When they review your case they will either reaffirm you and ask you for nothing. Or they will send you a letter of all the denial points from CO and you will need to send evidence to support each denial point. Then they will review your evidence and reaffirm you or deny you.

 

If reaffirmed your case goes back to Embassy for another interview.

 

So until then you just have to be patient and wait.

Hi,

 

I have the same issue.  My husband was not given visa at the embassy and the case was returned to uscis.  The case has been at uscis since November 29 2018.  When i call they say they need 180 days for review but today i spoke to next level customer service and he told me that it can take indefiniteamount of time.  He is not seeing that it will take 180 days.  I don't know who to believe and whether to refile or wait.  It will be 180 days at the end of May
