This absolutely terrifies me.

I started my CR-1 process and it makes it sound like because my country is not backing down, they will ''force us'' by punishing our economy and cancel most if not all legal ways to get into the U.S and be  with our loved ones. Which will only cause more ilegal immigration and riots. Good work, Bully in Chief.  Taken from his website: donaldjtrump:

Mexico will pay for the wall

Cancelling visas: Immigration is a privilege, not a right. Mexico is totally dependent on the United States as a release valve for its own poverty - our approvals of hundreds of thousands of visas to their nationals every year is one of our greatest leverage points. We also have leverage through business and tourist visas for important people in the Mexican economy. Keep in mind, the United States has already taken in 4X more migrants than any other country on planet earth, producing lower wages and higher unemployment for our own citizens and recent migrants.

I find this whole thing interesting.. the Executive Order coming from someone whose (third) wife is an immigrant herself, and who may or may not have violated conditions of her US visas herself. But then again, she ain't a muslim.

That is horrific. Putting the wall on US taxpayers is bad enough; even many conservatives agree that the wall will be a financial and logistical nightmare. But to put that on Mexico, who already has plenty of their own needs to spend money on, and to punish them if they don't bow down to Cheeto-In-Chief? I can't believe this is happening.

I read this morning that KLM Airlines indeed had to deny seven people from boarden. First they said they had valid visas but later they adjusted it to visas AND greencards. This is horrible, absolutely horrible. I can't help but feeling ashamed for Trump's actions.

Trump has recently imposed a (nonsensical) ban on immigrants. Though aimed towards Muslim countries, I was just wondering if there was any chance it would affect people trying to enter/immigrate from other countries like the Philippines? I am leaving on February 27th on a K1 visa and am slightly worried of encountering some trouble or inconveniences because of this ban once I get to the U.S. Though from the articles I've read, it seems only those from predominantly Muslim countries are affected... (Which is still really sad and I wish the world would just get along sigh)
