My wife's F2A I130 was approved in June 2016 before our child was born. The NVC has now sent welcome letter. I understand that child born afterwards get automatically tagged to the primary applicant approval. Is that correct?

Do I need to include my infant child in AOS and pay separate fees? Should I also apply for his visa and pay additional fees of $325 at this time? Or we should just wait and put his application at the time of consular interview.

Will appreciate advise. Thanks

Assuming you are the father, USC and the baby was born outside the US, I believe all you have to do is file CRBA in the country the baby was born and apply for a US Passport at that time.

he is a lpr. or else his wife would have a cr1 or ir1. since there are no dependents of a f2a the only option is to file a separate i130 for the child and if you become a citizen in that time to switch it over. sorry.

where are the wife and child since aos is only done inside the us?

have you notified nvc of the birth? have you let them know that you have a child

notify them by scanning birth certificate in an email with your wife's case, don't pay anything yet or anything more until both cases can be processed at the same time
