INAL...

Petitioner, since that is who fills this form out, and the instructions/explanation sort of is threaded throughout. Part 4 is to gather information for the Biometric Services Appointment mentioned earlier in the instructions (page 2). And Part 3, the indicate the person filling out the form, the petitioner, should answer, "Indicate whether you have ever been the subject of a temporary or permanent protection order or restraining order".

Thank you!!!!! So is part 4 biometrics for the petitioner or the beneficiary?

Does the petitioner have to get biometrics done as well?

INAL, though I found the best way to read this application is that it is talking directly to me. The instructions do a fair job of conveying that by using the second person. For example, from Page 2 of the I-129f instructions...

"Biometric Services Appointment. USCIS may require that you appear for an interview or provide  fingerprints, photograph, and/or signature at any time to verify your identity, obtain additional information, and conduct background and security checks, including a check of criminal history records maintained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), before making a decision on your application, petition, or request."

From the above, the biometrics, initially are for you. It is also, very likely, that the beneficiary will have a biometrics appointment at a later stage. However, for all intents and purposes, I read the I-129f, as an application to state my identity and make my petition to bring my fiancee to the US so that we might marry.

Hi June filers my fiancé and I are getting our finally documents ready to submit form I-129F hopefully at the end of this month. Hope you don't mind joining as we are both only 19 and need as much help as possible. So I just wanted to check with you guys if so far we are missing anything in our package that we are about to send to USCIS.

Package is packed like this so far:

*Cover letter

*Check

*e-notification

*Form I-129F

* Letter of intent to marry

* Letter of in person meeting.

* Followed with evidence such as flight details, photos of us together, photocopy of passports.

we still need to get two passport photo types taken but I can't think of anything else we may be missing if you could let me know if we are that would be great!

Tbanks guys.

Hello all, we mailed our application yesterday, June 12th, priority 2nd day USPS. After plenty of work filling out the application and pulling together all the supporting documentation, we suppose now is the time to wait patiently.

Welcome to the Club :D but it sure feels good to know that it is on its way...
