I submitted my application in April and as soon as I sent it I realised that I had not included the biometircs fee.

So, we finally got the application back, applied the correct fee and sent it back. It arrived on May 10, but we've not heard anything yet.

Is this uncommon or should I not worry just yet. I went through the documents a million times. I know that can't be the hold up.

Ah, I see your took some time as well. That's helpful to know. Thanks for that.

The posts I've read previously talk about receiving it after just a couple days.

I'm guessing by the end of the month.

They've just had it a bit over a week. I know we all want things to move fast; it's more common to see some action once they've had it at least 2 weeks. Hang in there.

Hehe I also was starting to worry about my NOA1. Sent it last May 10th, tracking via USPS said it was delivered successfully May 13th. It's now May 22nd and I still haven't heard anything from USCIS, via text or email... I should just relax, too, right? Haha.

Thanks you, Danni. It's two weeks yesterday and I'm a little stressed. I know that I looked it all over, the fees are right and all.

Yeah it took me a few weeks once the check was cashed.

However the NOA1 date was a couple weeks before I was actually notified.

Sometimes it takes a lot longer for the status online to update, or it doesn't even update at all.

How long was it before your check was cashed?

Hi, just an update... Got a notification from USCIS via text on May 23 at 9:50PM that they have received my packet. :) I sent the packet May 11 (Thursday), and was delivered successfully to the Chicago Lockbox (I checked via USPS tracking) on May 13. So it took a total of 12 days (including weekends) since I sent the packet for me to receive a notification. Haven't received NOA1 in mailbox yet though.

I think it just varies per person... Did you send it via USPS to this address?
