New Forms from USCIS Web Page

So I just came from the USCIS and they have a new I-129f form that includes information asked on the 325, just more detailed than either of them.  Anyone else see that, VJ still has the older forms on the site, the new ones are dated 04/10/17 and are 13 pages long.  Anyone know if anything else has changed with the 129f process and paperwork?  I was just about to send out the K1 paperwork today and now I'm updating the new forms so I don't have to worry about it getting kicked back.  Not sure if they would, but would rather be safe than sorry.  Also wasn't sure if the site moderator(s) update things that often, but did find some problems with forms not updated and parts that show examples that are even older.  I'm presently going through the USCIS web page and trying to see what else has changed.

The latest I-129F doesn't require the 2 x G-325As. That's the only update in terms of forms required. The process itself is unchanged...just the form updated.

Also, quick question.  Both of my parents are deceased.  They ask for your parent's county of residence, do I need to put that they are deceased in that box?

Yes, you can put "Deceased" for the city and country of residence fields.

With the changes to the I-129f, do you still submit the supporting documentation for ability to support (ie. tax forms and bank records) during the NOA or do you send them in when you send in the I-129f?

The Affidavit of Support (I-134 for a K-1) is submitted at the visa interview, not with the I-129F.

np! The petitioner does need to complete the I-134, but it's only used at the interview. Supporting evidences for it would be too old to be used by the time of the interview.

What do I need to do for her to file a K-2 visa for her 10 yo daughter?  And when I send in her K-1 visa application payment, do I need to include a check for the K-2, if so is it the same cost as the K-1?  I understand that she will have to file the paperwork for her daughter at the embassy in Manila, but I can't find any other process beyond that.  I know that we are talking of me adopting her daughter, and will cross that road when I do that.

For the I-129F, just make sure all children are listed (even if they aren't immigrating). This is in Part 2, questions 39-44. Use Part 8 is there are additional children to list. There is only 1 fee for the I-129F no matter how many children, if any, are the beneficiary has.

 

After the I-129F is approved and she applies for the K-1 visa, she will fill out a DS-160 for herself and another for each child who is immigrating. Each immigrating child needs to have their own medical and has their own visa fee. Once in the US, each K-2 child needs to apply for AOS.
