But nearly every news article has unnamed sources, how can anyone believe one unnamed over another. No one seems to question it and they articles are accepted as fact until proven otherwise. It has potential for lazy journalism.

In a courtroom it would be hearsay but I suppose as ccneat says it's not a courtroom.

I said I would have voted for Trump over Clinton because I would have liked to see how a non politician gets on, but that doesn't mean I am a Trump supporter just because I question the motives of others. It seems to be an automatic assumption that if someone question a news article then they must be a Trump supporter, not true. Just because I find some members hypocrites doesn't make me a Trump supporter either.

Enough of the one sided anonymous sourced articles and just come out with the evidence, impeach him and move on. But somehow I believe more are interested in having him thrown out regardless of what it does to your country, so I question their motives.

It was, in the words of one senior White House official, the worst day of Trump’s presidency.

White House officials spent early Tuesday wondering who was leaking details of President Donald Trump’s classified conversations with Russian officials about intelligence shared by the Israelis, and moving to contain the fallout ahead of Trump’s planned trip to Jerusalem next week. They spent the evening facing a report that before he fired FBI director James Comey, Trump directly asked him to stop investigating the Trump campaign’s Russia ties—and worrying what else might yet be revealed.

“Nobody knows where this really goes from here,” the White House official said. “Everyone is walking around saying, ‘What is next?’”

In interviews, multiple White House officials indicated they feel under siege – unsure who in the intelligence community was leaking, how much damaging information was out there, when the next proverbial shoe would drop and what Trump might say.

Staffers shuttled back and forth among West Wing offices debating what to say without divulging confidential material or getting anything wrong. A deflated and exhausted Sean Spicer, who continues to read reports that his job is in jeopardy but is working 12 hours every day in his office, huddled in his office with Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

There was a pervasive sense, another official said, that “we are kind of helpless.”

When we look at the overall behavior of the president it becomes very clear that he has some issues with impulse control . His actions are turning into a huge risk for this country. If the NY times report is confirmed and along with other evidence that appears to be in the pipeline, there will be enough momentum for congress to start impeachment.  Those are big ifs but we appear to be on that path.

This is aside from what does or does not come election the Russia/ electRussiInvestigation.
