Taking a Trip to Japan

1 post in this topic

My husband and I are headed to Japan for five days.  We know it will be a whirlwind trip, but the two places we'd like to visit include Kyoto and Tokyo. Are there any insider secrets anyone can share that would make our trip smooth and easy?  We purchased a JR Rail Pass for some high speed travel between the two cities, but I was wondering if there are top spots to see or great places to purchase tickets to tourist sites?

Also, besides an electricity converter, are there other things we should take with us?  We know getting pocket wifi is helpful as well, but I've heard we can pick that up when we arrive in Japan.  Thanks to all you Japan experts!
