Hello,

Our first "original submission" was lost by USPS, so we sent a second one with FedEx, which was delivered successfully. Now, we just received our NOA1 and from the date that is indicated on it, it shows that it is our first package that USCIS opened and processed. Which means that they have received both our "original submissions". Do you think this could be a problem for us and our application?

Many thanks !

O.

I would maybe call or email them to notify them of the mishap, but you should be fine. The only foreseeable issue I see is if you submitted two separate checks, money orders or cashiers checks and they end up cashing them both. As long as you contact them, I'm sure they would send the second unused one back to you.
