Elena received an email yesterday morning from USCIS with a case update. They have scheduled her Oath Ceremony! So we are now waiting for the letter with details.

@Vismom Sorry for the late reply to your question. We went to the court house. For a small fee they gave us a certified copy of the citation. We saved the receipt for the payment.

Congratulations!   Very exciting!  I am curious to see how long it is between interview and oath ceremony.

Thank you Vismom! I will be sure to post once we receive the letter. I believe it takes between 4 and 6 weeks after the initial email stating you are in line for the ceremony. 

 

Did you have your biometrics completed in March? Your time will be here soon.

Yes, March 17.  I am hoping to hear by mid June :)  I will be grateful, because this summer is impossible to make any plans.

Just saw a feb filer received the letter, however it was a LIN app, cant be sure if it is just a one-off case , hopefully the Feb NBC apps will roll in soon

@Mehmet&Elena, do you actually reside in DC or in Virginia ?, The reason I ask is because an applicant who lives in DC said that Oath scheduling may take longer for DC residents than it does for Virginia residents, although we all apply and get interviewed at the same district office, we must take the Oath within our state (district in DC's case) of residence. I believe he also said DC only offers oath ceremonies once a month where as Virginia residents have more / multiple locations where oath ceremonies can be held.

Did her online status change directly from "Interview scheduled" to "Oath scheduled", or did she in-between received email stating "In-line for oath scheduling"?

I am starting to feel very anxious to get a text about my interview letter being mailed.  For those that got their interview letters already, was the interview about a month from when you received the letter or a month from when they notified you that the letter was mailed?  I am also confused about the NOA date I should be going on.   On my acceptance letter (I797C) there is the Notice Date which was Feb 22 and then there is the Received and Priority Date of Feb 17, but then on my online case timeline it says Feb 22- We received your application.  Thanks!  I am anxious because I cannot make any summer plans till I get the letter :(  My husband has time of from the last week of July to first week of august.  I feel like right now it is looking like I will not get the interview till at least the last week of July.
