K1 visa, pre-interview employment question

Hi all,

 

I'm looking for a little advice/input from you knowledgable people. I'm currently in the NOA2 waiting game limbo, but I'm obviously making preparations for the move to the US as and when things start moving. Part of that will be selling my house and quitting my job. I'm in a very fortunate position, as the sale of my house will give me a very nice six-figure sum to my name. My plan is to get the house on the market asap, as it may take a few months to complete the sales process. When I do have the funds though, I plan to quit my job right away as to be honest... it's making me completely miserable. My question though, is will this count against me in the interview, if I arrive with no job? Obviously, I will have the money from my house to fall back on, but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on whether or not being unemployed at the time of the interview may harm my application.
