Hi guys ..

My name is Andre, brand new here starting the K-1 process !

Quick question, I am 100% sure my name on my birth certificate is spelled with an accent, i.e. André , but in my passport it is just spelled as Andre which I use every day. Which name should I use for filling out all the forms during the K-1 process, will Andre (without the "accent" above the "e" ) be fine ?

Thanks !

If you are the petitioner you can choose whether you send a copy of your passport or your birth certificate with your I-129F. If you send a copy of your passport I would file as Andre, if you go with your birth certificate instead I would use André.
