Hi everyone, is any one here from Boston? I am still stuck in fingerprint :(... 

I called up the USCIS and they told me that Boston office is still working at May 2016 filer. will that mean I have to wait for 3 more months for my case since I am an August filer? 

Is there another way to make a follow where i can have a real status of my case?

I'm a Boston filer as well, my case has been sent to the local field case in Kansas City instead of Boston I found out after calling a level 2 agent, guessing I wont get an interview as its from a K1.

How do you know? K1s still get an interview, it's not a given that you won't.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

I don't, its a guess, I did get an RFE asking for evidence of our marriage together, I guessed that's what you would give at the interview and they want it in the mail, its annoying though as the USCIS hasn't updated with the RFE being sent or been received, so in the dark about it, which always worries me that it didn't get to the right person, guess I just need to be patient.

 

To get the level 2 agent, just call the normal number and ask to be put through, I just told them I wanted to know where the case was, if it was sent to a field office, and they put me through, as the level 1 agents can't see that information.

OMG Lucky you!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!! :D

 

I am also hitting 6 month mark on February. I called 2 days ago to request to talk to tier 2, and I am waiting for a call back from them.

I don't think anything is wrong, but it's just painful waiting. According to the processing time checking, there could be another 1 to 2 months. I hope not.

My office is Milwaukee. As of November 2016 they were processing case of May 6, 2016.

We're almost 2 months from ther so I'm hoping to here some news soon. 

 

I got a RFE, they received it in October. I'm guessing a RFE starts the clock again right?

11/13/2018: Check got cash and text with receipt # (heading to Nebraska)

12/11/2018: NOA1 received in the mail

07/12/2019: Biometrics letter received - Asking to reschedule

10/04/2019: Green card approval

my local office is Milwaukee too. And I had responded rfe and was recieved by uscis on October 11 2016 since then I haven't heard anything on my case either. Hope we both get good news soon

I am in the same situation, different office though. 

 

Returned rfie in October, so assuming it reset the clock as it were.

I've just posted this in the September filers thread but maybe someone here can shed some light?

I called USCIS this morning as the wait is starting to grind and the automated message said that my case is at Lee's Summit MO which is the NBC. I've read that this is because of one or two things.... either it hasn't been processed or sent to my local field office (when I called about a different matter some weeks ago I was told that it was in St Louis), or it's being processed for an interview waiver. On the processing times for the NBC there is nothing for the I-485 because I guess they don't process them... odd. Anyone else experiencing this? I was anticipating a couple more months yet anyway but this has thrown a bit of a curve ball now.

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

Yay! New Card Is Being Produced!

 

K1 Filer, case went to a non local field office, RFE for Bone Fide relationship evidence, 3 weeks after sending it off, I got this status with no interview, if that helps anyone :)
