AOS interview cancelled

I was scheduled for an interview on the 26th of January but received a letter today indicating that my interview was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Does anyone know why? I'm so upset right now, my EAD expires 2 days after and I haven't received any communication about my renewal. I won't be able to work or renew my driver's license. I will be calling tomorrow.?

This does happen.  Sometimes people take vacation, extended leave, sometimes it's a mistake.  Perhaps try an info pass for renewal

You need to actually get in touch with the powers that be and raise a complaint, the ombudsman.  Too frequently and way too often I hear the delays, the delays and the delays, funny how they don't ever delay the ridiculous levies on the costs relating too immigration. If you ask me its a money making organisation with little regard to the people that actually fund it, i.e you and I!!  Lobby whoever you need too, action speaks louder than words, don't put up with the red tape or bureaucracy, after all its the people who make the country great not the politicians or such!  Go get them and good luck! )

Thx, I just need my EAD renewed and I'll be fine.
