yes, we have to 'fact check' our media and sources. but that in no way means all sources are equal in credibility or lack thereof.

Just saying that all of the new outlets are CAPABLE of reporting "biased news", or even saying that they all do, does not mean they all do to the same degree. When fact checking websites you can look at how often they are "paints on fire" lying their bum off. I would trust a website that does that 10% of the time far more than one that does it 80% of the time.

I disagree, Breitbart should not even be mentioned in the same sentence, Breitbart is a joke or more like an evil clown. If you think the others have no more credibility

 you are not watching them or just don't understand the issues.

So it's OK to spoon feed debate questions to a major political candidate, or to participate in a media control dinner at the house of one party's campaign chair?  I am not defending Breitbart, and to be honest rarely ever go there, but to say the mainstream media has any credibility is disingenuous.

why does it matter in the slightest if either candidate was "spoonfed" debate questions if the candidates are not required to give an actual answer - with substance? and if the major political candidates aren't held accountable for their answers, why even bother having a debate?

Did Breibart pass questions on to a major presidential candidate?  Did Breibart send any of their journalists to Podesta's dinner?  Again, I don't read Breibart, but the fact that a CNN employee did, and many mainstream Leftist journalists did, puts those organization in the "lacks credibility" category and even on par with an organization like Breibart.  It is amazing that all the news media that are clearly biased to the Left are considered credible, but any organization that doesn't favor the Left is not credible.

Then why give Hillary the questions at all?  If she isn't going to answer them properly, she doesn't need them.  The fact that it was only one candidate that got the questions from a Left leaning news organization (CNN), makes that organization look corrupt from their main mission, to communicate unbiased information.

i don't think i've ever heard trump respond to a question -debate or not- and give even an attempt at a direct answer. the answers/statements/details he does give, almost half of the time are full on lies. cnn isn't broadcasting this from the mountain tops 24/7 so, i don't consider them liberal. they're getting in line.

   Are you serious?  The executive chairman of Breitbart became the executive chairman of Trump's campaign while still remaining associated with Breitbart. That is clear bias.  Credibility and bias are two different things though. Most news organizations show bias. Bias doesn't mean they are not credible. IMO, a news organization that came into existence solely to promote the myth of a white nationalist utopia is both biased and lacks credibility. That is Breitbart.
