Since the last thread had to be closed down, thought I would start a new one.

Anyone with a recent case complete at the NVC? If so, what interview dates are they scheduling right now? My 6 week date is today so I'll be put on supervisor review tomorrow. Just wondering about when interview date will be if we get a case complete in the next couple of weeks. I've heard in the past like 4 or 5 weeks after case complete.

To give you an idea, our CC was October 20 and interview was December 6.

Finally got my SSN card yesterday. I have been working since the 3rd but wasn't on the payroll. Feel much better that I can actually get paid now!

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

I was able to talk to a supervisor today (6 weeks now from my new scan date for our new birth certificate).

She said they were "Working through November cases" right now, but couldn't tell me when in November they were up to. SHe also said they were "almost done scheduling February interviews and will be starting on March soon". I'm fairly certain she was giving me information specific for the UK (At least for interview dates since that would be specific to the embassy).

So for anyone else waiting with a scan date in November...they are "somewhere" around there and the interview will most likely be in March it seems.

I've just been to pick up my passport ?, now all the easy part is over and done with....I need help with the hardest part of this whole process....getting that massive white envelope to POE without bending or tearing it!? I have a night stopover in Toronto too before POE.

I had my interview on Jan 4, and just got my passport and the huge white envelope yesterday!! We're leaving here in just under 3 weeks, visiting my parents in Canada, and then going to the US for the first of March! Everything went so smoothly and I'm so glad the interview process was as easy as it was! Ahh now to pack and figure out how to not mess up the giant envelope - I'm pretty sure it won't fit in the backpack I normally use as a carry on...

I love living in Portland and hopefully Harry will too, he always has fun visiting and the culture shock will be less than if he were coming from Southeast England to other parts of the US. Do you live in Houston? Funnily enough that's my hometown. Sending good thoughts for your wife's speedy arrival :)

P.S. Thank you for your thoughtful posts on CEHST, they help me feel less like the world has gone mad.

Ya I moved to Houston in August from Manhattan. My wife is in Oil and Gas so it made sense to move here. It's not as bad as people think, and it's definitely not like "Greater Texas". My family is still in Portland (Tigard and Oregon City actually).

Anyone get any interview dates in March yet? Still waiting on a case complete (Scan 11/28) just wondering where other UK people are at.

I can't believe how long you've been stuck at the NVC! You were 3 months behind me at the NVC and my case completed 4 months ago. So that's an extra month or more that things have slowed down in the last 4 months. And to think I went crazy with 50 days in the NVC review!

Arrived here 8 weeks ago yesterday and still no plastic green card (ELIS fee paid 9 weeks ago today).
